All colors but Black and Gold are
semi-transparent, meaning that the other nine inks may have a slight
color shift if printed on a paper stock that has vivid color. (For
example: Either of the Blue inks printed on Canary Cambric, Yellow Plate
or Yellow Astrobright will give the ink a Greenish tint. Likewise,
Yellow ink on any Astrobright paper will drastically change the final
color of the ink).
Therefore, Astrobrights are recommended only for use with Black ink and
one should exercise caution when choosing ink colors for Canary Cambric
and Yellow Plate. The rest of the other colored papers are safe with any
ink, with any color variance not being noticeable. |
