Masterlock Instructions

Opening the key storage compartment door:

• Open shutter door to reveal the dials and the realse button
• Rotate dials to the current combination (if the lock is new, the combination is set at the factory to 0-0-0-0)
• Press down on the release button to open the door
• 4. pull the door fully open
• Add or remove keys
• Close compartment door
• Scramble the combination dials to lock the door and coneal your combination
• Close the shutter door

To set a new combination:  The inintal combinatoin is set at the factory to 0-0-0-0

• Open the compartment door (see instructions above)
• Push the reset lever left and down. The lever remains in this postion
• Rotate dials to your desired combination
• Pus the reset lever up and right, back to the original position
• Close the key storage compartment door
• Scramble the combination dials to lock the door and conceal your combination
• Close the shutter door

To Hang wall mount model: You will need: pencil or mark, Phillips head screwdriver, level drill, and drill bit. For certian surfaces (masonry) anchors and a hammer are recommeded.

• Open the comparment door (see instructions above)
• Position the lock on the desired surface
• Use leve to verfiy the lock is vertical
• Mark the poistion of the screw holes on the surface
• Remove lock
• Drill holes
• If neccessary use hammer to place anchors
• Position lock
• Insert and tighten screws
• Close compartment door
• Scramble the combination dials to lock the door and conceal your combination
• Close the shutter door

Reminder

• The release button will open the lock until you scramble the dials
• Keep the shutter door closed to increase weather resistance and to conceal the dials from view
