Uploadkit - Tips for Quality Photos

Here are a few tips on getting photos that will look great on our products just by using your smartphone:

Zooming in when taking a photo reduces the resolution of the final image. Instead, step closer and let the player fill in the frame of the camera. It's best to aim for a minimum of 100 pixels per inch. That means if your item is 24x30, you'll probably want your photo to be at least 2400x3000.

If you're thinking about getting several different items, try to make sure the lighting is the same in each of them. Even the best photo editing wizards can't make photos taken at night and day look the same.

The width listed in the product specs is maximum we offer. In other words, if you have a subject posing with their arms spread wide, they'll probably end up a little shorter to stay in bounds of the material. Props like bats, pom poms, and helmets can have the same effect, so it's always a good idea to plan out your pose.

If you have any special requests on how you'd like your subjects cropped, leave it in the Notes section under their photo. We'll do our best to make it happen!
